West Olympia Tree Guards
(design commission) steel 24" x 48" x 36" In 2008, the City of Olympia made a call for proposals for the design of a series of five tree guards to be arrayed along a prominent new stretch of sidewalk in West Olympia. I won the competition with this series of curved steel structures with cutout scenes specific to the the Westside community. The pieces have not yet been fabricated the city has acquired the funding and expects to be able to carry the project forward in 2011. |
