_Birds Eye Stair Rail
bird's eye maple, steel The client came to me with a simple vision—he wanted to be able to put his hand on the railing at the top or bottom of the stairway and slide it all the way to the other end without a break—up two flights of stairs, around a curve, and along the front edge of an upstairs landing. We chose bird’s eye maple for the wood, and had a local artisan weld and powder-coat steel baluster sections. |
